General information
As part of a government initiative, the SME Packages – Digital programme provides individual support to companies implementing digital tools to improve online communication with customers and optimise internal management processes. SME Packages – Digital enable companies to integrate digital solutions with expert support, while being guided by a consultant throughout the implementation of their digital strategy. The programme is divided into the following areas:
Digital marketing: Companies receive support in creating or improving their
website as well as developing campaigns on social networks.
Management systems: From cash register systems to industry-specific
software and ERP solutions, the programme supports companies in selecting and implementing
suitable management systems.
Electronic invoicing: By integrating an ERP system with an electronic
invoicing module, billing processes can be optimised.
Who can benefit from the SME Packages?
Any company that:
- holds a business permit issued by the General Directorate for SMEs of the Ministry of the Economy,
- meets the SME criteria in terms of staff numbers, annual turnover and balance sheet total,
- is based in Luxembourg.
What are the requirements?
Preliminary steps
Companies interested in SME Packages – Digital must first contact the House of
Entrepreneurship of the Chamber of Commerce or the eHandwierk department of the Chamber of
Crafts (for craft businesses). We are happy to put you in direct contact.
The company must undergo a mandatory pre-analysis carried out by the House of
Entrepreneurship or the Chamber of Crafts. This helps when completing the application
form for the subsidy.
Costs
To benefit from the SME Packages – Digital programme, the company must carry out a project with a value between EUR 3,000 (excluding VAT) and EUR 25,000 (excluding VAT).
Process and details
Amount of financial aid
The General Directorate for SMEs of the Ministry of the Economy supports the implementation of digital solutions with a fixed subsidy covering 70% of eligible costs. This financial aid is paid to the company after the implementation of the package.
Process – Pre-analysis of your current situation
Make an appointment with the House of Entrepreneurship of the Chamber of Commerce or the eHandwierk department of the Chamber of Crafts to carry out a pre-analysis of your current level of digitalisation and identify priority measures.
Definition of your package and selection of the provider
Choose your package and the provider that best meets your requirements. Together, you define an offer ranging between EUR 3,000 (excluding VAT) and EUR 25,000 (excluding VAT).
Submission and confirmation of your application
The teams of the House of Entrepreneurship and the eHandwierk department support you in preparing your application. The General Directorate for SMEs of the Ministry of the Economy analyses and approves your application.
Implementation of the package
The selected provider implements the digital solution in accordance with the chosen package.
Evaluation of your package
After completion of the provider’s support, an evaluation of your satisfaction and the achieved savings is carried out. The project is then considered completed.
Your voucher
After settling the provider’s final invoice, you will receive a flat-rate subsidy of 70% of eligible costs from the General Directorate for SMEs of the Ministry of the Economy.
