A digital operating system for Luxambulance

Luxambulance developed a custom ERP platform that digitally integrates the core processes of a modern ambulance and transport company. Instead of connecting individual, isolated solutions, a system was created that maps journeys, customers, patient information, vehicles, drivers, invoices, documents, and internal processes in a single application.

At its core, the project is about operational clarity: transports can be planned, processed, documented, and billed. Driver and vehicle data, outbound and return trips, checklists, special requirements, addresses, customer profiles, and status information come together in a structured interface. This makes complex daily workflows more transparent, faster to evaluate, and less dependent on manual coordination.

Technically, the project is based on a modern Spring Boot architecture with a REST API, PostgreSQL database, role-based authentication, and modular services. The system is complemented by reporting functions, PDF and invoicing processes, driver reports, monthly evaluations, vacation and sick-leave management, as well as interfaces to external services. Topics such as PEPPOL invoicing logic, file storage, monitoring, and multilingual data structures were also taken into account.

What makes the project particularly interesting is the depth of its custom development: Luxambulance is not a standard tool with a few modifications, but a mature business application that digitally replicates real-world workflows. From an individual transport order to backend analysis, many modules work together seamlessly. For teams in their daily operations, this means fewer duplicate entries, better traceability, and a reliable technical foundation for further growth.

The project demonstrates what custom software can achieve when it is developed closely around real operational processes: not just an interface, but a digital tool that concretely improves organization, communication, and administration within a specialized business.
